What happens when I submit my prayer request?

All prayer requests will be published in our bulletin and sent to our prayer chain unless they are noted as private.  Any requests that are noted as private will only be shared with the pastoral staff.

What the does Bible say about prayer?

2 Chronicles 7:14 "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

1 Chronicles 16:11 "to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always."

Luke 11:9 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”

Luke 18:1 "(you) should always pray and not give up."

1 Thessalonians 5:17 " pray continually."

2 Thessalonians 1:11 " we constantly pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act prompted by your faith."

How to Pray

Prayer is simply talking to God in our own language. There is no such thing as the best prayer
or perfect prayer.  Here is one simple way to remember how to pray.  You may find this helpful in your personal prayer time.

A-Adoration: A time of worship and recognition of who God is.
C-Confession: A time of self-reflection. Is there anything in your heart that may be contrary to His perfect will for your life? Take time to confess your sin and restore your communion with Him.
T-Thanksgiving: Give God glory, thanks and praise for what He has done.  Acknowledge His goodness.
S-Supplication: Bring your needs as well as the needs of others to God. Be honest and specific.
