Women's Ministry

“Reach up…Reach out…Reach in”

Celebration Women’s Ministry is dedicated to loving, nurturing, and encouraging women of all ages, backgrounds, and seasons of life. We desire to help women reach up with desire to God, reach out with compassion to the world, and reach in with love to our local church. Using the Proverbs 31 woman as our role model, we encourage and equip women to develop loving relationships, serve others with their God-given gifts, and realize their dreams, desires, and destiny. Together…we reach up, reach out, and reach in.

Reach Up With Desire – We encourage women to develop a personal and intimate relationship with God through prayer, Bible study, and worship. Women are invited to reach up to God as we meet for morning prayer, Monday - Friday, and through small group Bible study on Wednesday night. Other opportunities intended to help women connect with God are offered throughout the year.

Reach Out With Compassion – We encourage women to share the love of God by loving and serving those outside the walls of our church including family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and those whose lives intersect with ours. We provide opportunities to reach out through participation in community outreach ministries such as nursing home and home-bound visitation, and world mission projects.

Reach In With Love – We encourage women to nurture and develop relationships with other women in our fellowship and equip them to serve within out local church. We help women reach in by identifying their spiritual gifts, helping them find a place to serve, and providing many activities and events designed to develop life-long friendships.

We help women reach up, reach out, and reach in by encouraging their involvement in a number of annual events that are offered.

Women’s Tea – This event is held on a Saturday afternoon in January at The Garden Club. We have light refreshments, a guest speaker, and loads of fun.

Friday Night Live – This “Girl’s Night Out” helps women connect with one another in a comfortable and casual home environment. We have good food, great fellowship, and a short devotional by a guest speaker.

Around Town – We gather for dinner at a local restaurant. There’s no agenda – just pure fun and fellowship.

Revivals and Retreats – Each year we gather for a women’s retreat or conference and revival with the sole purpose of reviving our hearts, nurturing our souls, and encouraging our spirits.

Mother’s Day Breakfast – This event is for all women and girls. We meet prior to morning worship at a local hotel for breakfast and enjoy a guest speaker along with lots of love and laughter.

Christmas Around the World – We celebrate the Christmas holiday each December as we gather in someone’s home for food, fellowship, and lots of fun. We share food from our country of origin, have a short devotional, and provide a gift for underprivileged children.
