Junior Children's Ministries

Little Lambs Nursery | Celebration Station

Children are a gift from God, and at Celebration we give the highest priority to the care of our children.  We minister to your child’s spiritual, physical, and emotional needs, and are dedicated to creating a safe and secure environment that fosters a personal experience with Jesus.  Our nursery and Junior Children’s Church is staffed by loving and dedicated ministry volunteers who are committed to providing a warm, caring, and secure environment.  In order to ensure the safety of our children, all ministry volunteers are subject to a criminal background check.  Ministry workers are not only trained in teaching and working with children but are also knowledgeable of the processes and procedures necessary to ensure the safety and security of all children.  Our Junior Children’s Pastor oversees our Nursery and Celebration Station, and The Ark Junior Children's Church for children in K & 1.

A ministry worker will also make sure that your child's bag is labeled, and will provide your child with a name tag. Classroom Structure
During your child’s time in the nursery, he or she will be given a snack, have time for play and fun, and experience learning-based videos.

Snacks are served around 11:00 am during the morning service. They consist of goldfish, cheerios or vanilla wafers.  Please inform a ministry volunteer of any allergies and/or if you do not wish for your child to have a snack.

Checking on Your Child
Parents may check on your child at any time. We do ask that you do so discreetly as to not disrupt our ministry activities.

Picking up Your Child
We ask that the same person (parent or guardian) drop-off and pick-up your child.  You will need to present your child’s identification number in order for your child to be released to you. Please make sure that you have all your child's belongings (coats, papers, bags, etc.).

Your Child's Health

Mother's Room
For your comfort and convenience, we have a private mother’s room located adjacent to the Sanctuary in Room 104.  There are comfortable chairs and a changing table available.

Celebration Station

Celebration StationOur Junior Children’s ministry is for children ages 3 - 5.  This ministry area is divided into two groups with ages 3 & 4 meeting in one room and ages 5 meeting in a connecting room.    The two rooms are joined and accessible through a door between them. One room is a classroom setting where a lesson, craft, snack and bathroom break takes place. The other room is a playroom setting with toys, puzzles, games and music.  The two age groups rotate between both rooms.

What to Bring

Parents may bring a diaper bag for children who are still in this stage of development.  If your child requires a diaper and/or clothing change, we will notify you by displaying your child’s assigned number in the sanctuary.  At this time, we do not have a changing station in the room - however, there is one available in a nearby restroom.  There is a coat rack in the hallway outside the room to hang coats, bags, etc.  All of your child's belongings should be labeled with their first and last name. We ask that you leave your child’s toys at home so they do not get lost or broken.
